Keep Writing, That's the KEY!

Keep Writing.

In the past, I've entertained the tempting thought of giving up writing. I know all writers have experienced this before, so I know I'm not alone. But I can honestly say that just yesterday, I almost gave in to the thought. Why? Because I fell into the ever-so-present trap of resenting the process of writing.

Everything's a process. No matter what we're doing in life, there's a process to it. Whether you're warming up a meal in the microwave or composing an awesome musical for Broadway. There's a process to them both. I guess you could say that I momentarily forsook that truth and gave in to impatience. I believe we're all guilty of that sometimes.

After snapping back into reality, for I sometimes wish I could jump ahead to experience instantaneous results lol, I'm reminded that the process is even more important than achieving results themselves because it's during the process that our character is refined to handle the results that we so much desire.

So as the Energizer Bunny once said, I'll just keep going , and going, and going.
