3 REASONS WHY WRITING IS HEALTHY
If you're a writer or someone who is thinking about writing, this blog post is for you. Even if you just enjoy journaling or keeping a diary, these three reasons why writing is healthy will help encourage you to continue. Let's get started!
There's something about writing that I simply love. It's the expression of my thoughts being transferred to the surfaces of modified trees.
1. Writing is healthy because it helps you organize your thoughts. I'm a speaker, but I don't always form my sentences in the way that I'd like to. Writing my thoughts down helps me to take my time and to really express what I want to say. This provides me with mental clarity that I can later reflect on.
2. Writing is healthy because it serves as an emotional release and stress reduction. I love to journal. I've been journaling for years. It's part of my therapy. Therapeutic writing helps me release stressful emotions onto the paper. I get those feelings out of my head! Try it, it helps!
3. Lastly, Writing is healthy because it boosts creativity. If you're a creative such as myself, in fact, I believe everyone is one, then this is great for you. Writing stimulates the brain and enhances cognitive function. Hence, the term brainstorming comes into play.
So here are 3 reasons why writing is healthy. I encourage you to keep these in mind as you work, journal, and exercise! Take care and keep writing!
